Giving @ The Gathering
Giving is one of the central themes in the Bible. Believe it or not, Jesus talked more about this subject than heaven, hell or even prayer. Jesus taught that our money is an indicator of our hearts and Paul taught that if we are loved by God and love Him in return we would give cheerfully, sacrificially, and regularly. So, to understand what it means to be a Christ-follower, we must also understand what it means to be a giver.
"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." - 2 Corinthians 9:7
